In this role you will:
- Manage daily operations of a retail store engaged in selling wireless products and services.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to ensure monthly store targets are achieved and overall profitability of store operations.
- Review and approve all customer contracts/RQ4 receipts sold by your Sales Staff.
- Coordinate sales promotion activities and oversee preparation of merchandise displays for store audit performed by Fido and advertising copy.
- Perform and/or supervise employees engaged in sales, customer service, taking of and controlling inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, or preparing daily records of transactions.
- Train and ensure all employees are aware and comply with any new sales initiatives, policies or programs established.
- Prepare daily and monthly sales reports to Management.
- Follow up with Sales Staff on a regular basis on the status of achieving their monthly sales target.
- Plan and develop work schedules and assign employees to specific duties.
- Order merchandise or prepare requisitions to replenish inventory on hand. Conduct stock checks regularly.
- Ensure compliance of employees with established security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices.
- Be accountable for controllable expenses, cash management, merchandising, and loss prevention.
- Coach, mentor and train store personnel and maintain positive employee relations.
- Participate in the development and execution of promotional activities with the marketing team.
- Be accountable for all customer inquiries, needs, and/or problems, which may include account research, explanation of equipment operation, and execution of warranty claims.
- Maintain demo line responsibilities through timely response of customer inquiries and follow up of any customer on-going issues.
- Ensure all FastTrack modules/diplomas are completed by all staff within directed timelines.
- Stay current with changes and developments in the wireless industry.
- Promote corporate culture and values.
- Adhere to workplace policies and procedures as established by COMPANY from time to time.
