Manage a portfolio of large value projects across a portfolio, implementing and promoting Project Management principles such as change control, risk, financial and documentation management.

Plan and manage the implementation of projects within the agreed requirements budget, time-lines and customer satisfaction.

Manage the project, team members and suppliers. Ensure staff involvement, optimal and safe working conditions.

Ensure delivery of contracted outputs to the required quality, evaluate project and supplier performance identifying lessons for future improvement.

Understand the customers goals and how Ricardo can contribute to achieve them both within and in addition to current project activity.

Manage project in accordance with Ricardo's processes and procedure and in line with Ricardo's governance.

Drive project management practise within Ricardo, delivering, developing and using best practices tools and techniques for effective and consistent ways of working.

Experience of working in a business/ client services environment.

Support the growth of a project organisation, recruit necessary staff and resources and makes agreements for this purpose with internal and external suppliers, if required.

Monitor project progress, making adjustments and negotiating changes with the customer.

To be the primary customer interface for the project, establishing strong and effective customer relationships. Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained throughout the project teams.
