Located at the Toronto global headquarters, this role supports a key function within the Vendor Information Risk Management business group, specifically assisting the Contracts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing contracts to ensure appropriate legal language is included, managing requests received through a shared inbox, and supporting contract reviews related to medium-risk vendors. The position also involves general organizational support within the team and requires a high level of attention to detail and initiative in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Review contracts to ensure ML contract language is included where necessary.
- Manage an inbox and action requests for contract review.
- Review contracts for medium-risk vendors.
- Assist with organizing the team.
What you will need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
- 8--10 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
- Strong experience reviewing, interpreting, and drafting contract clauses.
- Experience reviewing contracts in a risk or compliance-related function.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and third-party risk.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify contractual risks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Proficient organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Background in IT, procurement, or contract negotiation considered an asset.
- Legal background also considered an asset.
