In this full-time, in-office role, you'll support the controller in managing our financial operations. Your strong analytical skills, proficiency with accounting software, and knowledge of financial principles will be essential. Effective communication and leadership abilities will help you collaborate seamlessly with other departments.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain and enforce internal controls and company policies.
- Oversee invoicing, collections, and payments, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage the general ledger and reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation.
- Assist with client bookkeeping.
- Support payroll and benefits administration as needed.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance positions.
- Familiarity with month-end processes and bookkeeping.
- Strong problem-solving and account reconciliation skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills to meet multiple deadlines.
- High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
