Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a SUPER fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are organized and stored properly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
- Clean kitchen equipment and maintain a sanitary work environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Help with the disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with company policies.
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service for guests.
Skills
- Experience in food handling or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel kitchen operations is a plus.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure high sanitation standards are met.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Willingness to assist with food preparation tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility in responsibilities.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
