Responsibilities

Supervise engineering and project management staff and assign tasks

Develop work methods and make recommendations regarding staff issues

Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback

Define project objectives, scope, estimates, schedules, work plans, and resource requirements

Coordinate technical work and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
-
Prepare and submit necessary proposals and documentation
-
Maintain and update departmental procedures
-
Contribute to the preparation of the Department's annual budget and monitor project costs
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in a Nuclear environment is an asset
-
Proven track record in project management within a Nuclear, Hydroelectric, or Thermal facility
-
Strong organizational and planning skills
-
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure

Excellent presentation skills
Education Requirements• University Degree in Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, or a related field
Education Requirements Credential Category• Certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project or Program Management Professional (PMP, PGMP) is considered an asset
Experience Requirements
- Experience delivering Construction Management services for major projects
- Familiarity with the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) is advantageous
