Position Summary
General Duties
- Recruit and screens potential study participants and perform the intake assessments and experimental sessions,
- Manage the inventory of equipment and supplies related to the specific study and place orders when necessary,
- Monitor software in lab and licenses,
- Collect data and information from participants and collect them into electronic systems,
- Create stimuli, such as test meals and flavor stimuli for sensory testing, which requires basic wet-lab skills that can be learned on-the-job, but prior knowledge is considered an asset,
- Provide administrative support and perform administrative tasks as requested.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and in French (an intermediate level of written French is acceptable),
- Superior organizational and time management skills,
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and also as part of a team,
- Demonstrates good listening, good interpersonal and communication skills,
- Demonstrates attention to details,
- Takes initiative and is resourceful,
- Ability to multitask.
