As a Mechanical Designer \& Drafter, you will be an integral part of the project team, working closely with clients, engineers, and other designers to exceed client expectations.
With Us, You'll Get The Opportunity To
- Designing and preparing 3D models and 2D drawings
- Preparing plant layouts, general arrangement drawings, simple diagrams, dimensional calculations, and fabrication drawings for platework and mechanical equipment
- Producing preliminary plans for buildings, equipment, or sites from reference drawings or catalogues
- Participating in developing innovative solutions and performing other technical duties to support project execution
- Applying BBA or client standards when drafting layouts, sketches, schematics, or diagrams from detailed drawings
- Helping more experienced colleagues with more complex tasks and preparing site surveys when required

Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements
- College diploma in Mechanical Design or relevant work experience
- Two or more years of mechanical design experience in the industrial sector
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and NavisWorks
- Asset: Knowledge of CADWorx and SmartPlant 3D
- Asset: Bilingual (English and French)
