The opportunity
We currently have career opportunity for Senior Managers in our Canadian Banking Technology consulting team. Our team is dedicated to building a better world by transforming businesses through the potential of our people, technology, and innovation.
We advise and work collaboratively with C-suite executives including CIO, CTO, and Business leads in large banks, helping them develop and evolve technologies, create and realize the best solutions to deliver business value. Each project is unique, so you'll need to excel in ambiguous situations and confidently navigate ever-changing circumstances. We're looking for self-starters who can decompose and translate complex information into simple terms, lead teams, and deliver long-term solutions with confidence. On this team, you'll have the unique opportunity to imagine the future and create it, crafting ideas and implementing them for our clients.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will lead and work with a team of professionals advising on technology strategies, providing strategic planning support, and designing and delivering technology transformations to achieve tangible business outcomes. You will oversee the delivery of customer engagements, build strong client relationships, and foster team development. This will include generating new business opportunities by developing innovative ideas and solutions to present to internal and external clients.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Experience and Appetite for Learning: Relevant experience or education in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Typically, successful candidates have 10 years of experience in roles across the full lifecycle of technology transformation, including the strategy, design, build, test, delivery, and operate phases.
- Consulting Experience: 5 years of experience working in consulting, ideally within the Financial Services and Banking sectors.
- Banking Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Banking business and technology, regulatory requirements, and industry challenges.
- Delivery Role Experience: Proven experience in a delivery role for application portfolios, including application product experience and familiarity with Core-Banking systems.
- Retail or Commercial Banking Experience: Experience in retail or commercial banking.
- Technology Program Management: Experience managing technology engagements, with a strong understanding of engagement financials and deal structuring.
- Technology Modernization: Experience in enterprise technology modernization, including digital banking and core modernization, technology transformation strategy, planning, and delivery.
- Complex Ecosystem Understanding: Familiarity with integration architecture, data architecture, and infrastructure architecture.
- Team Leadership: Ability to lead onshore and offshore teams and foster inclusive collaboration.
- Delivery Governance: Strong experiential knowledge in delivery governance.
- Client Engagement: Ability to work with clients at all levels, from executives to delivery teams.
- Third-Party Collaboration: Experience working with third-party solution providers and subcontractors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Travel Requirements: On-site work with clients may be required, including some travel outside of Ontario.
Ideally, you'll also have

Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. Additional post-secondary education in Business Administration is a plus.
