AtkinsRéalis' Major Projects division is in search of a Data \& Reporting Analyst to join a transformative transit infrastructure project in Toronto. The Data \& Reporting Analyst role will be part of a high-performing project team that is dedicated to delivering this complex undertaking through collaboration and a best-for-project vision.
This position is a fulltime contractual role for a 6 month term based in Toronto.
Your role within the team:
- Develop and implement Data process maps and project-specific workflows and processes.
- Collect data from multiple sources, such as databases, APIs, or external systems and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data insights clearly and effectively using Power BI, Excel, VBA, Power Automate and SharePoint.
- Manage large datasets and ensure the proper storage and retrieval processes are in place.
- Transform data into a structured format suitable for analysis, applying necessary formatting or aggregation techniques.
- Work closely with team members to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurement frameworks.
- Manage IT requirements with parent companies and ensure IT issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports, including providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing, as well as training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
- Knowledge of Construction tools such as Procore, Aconex, Oracle P6 would be an asset.

The ideal candidate:
- 2 - 4 years of analytics or data visualization experience
- Experience with industry standard reporting tools including Power BI, Excel, VBA, Power Automate and SharePoint.
- Experience with data quality assurance processes, methodology and tools, quality assurance testing and implementation methods and practices to ensure the integrity of data and to identify data inefficiencies.
- Expertise in data collection/management techniques and interpretation of data to determine requirements, retrieve, analyze, deliver insights and recommendations.
- General understanding of program controls disciplines including schedule, cost, risk, and scope management and the associated performance metrics.
- Flexibility to work at least 3 times per week on-site.
