What will you do?
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Territory Sales Manager to drive sales growth and revenue growth of our Building Automation products through Value Added Partners (VAPs). You will be responsible to manage key accounts and prospect/identify new partners to increase sales in the territories of Ontario and Manitoba.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the Channel partners, to achieve or exceed Sales targets for the region by developing and executing strategic growth initiatives.
- Identify and prospect new potential sales partners to increase market share.
- Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to develop strategic growth initiatives with new products/ solutions and verticals.
- Identify and develop relationships with key customers and establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in existing customers.
- Drive Siemens specification in the assigned territory.
- Effectively utilize sales CRM sales i.e., Sales Force.
- Actively drive business planning and develop mutual performance objectives, and financial targets.
What will you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology Diplomas or relevant trade certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales preferably within the Building Automation industry.
- Proven track record in achieving sales growth and managing channel partners.
- Strong understanding of Building Automation systems and solutions or related Electrical/ Mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and lead growth initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven experience in growing a market is a strong asset.
- Self-starting personality is required to efficiently structure work schedule and work successfully from your home office, with the ability for an in-office presence for meetings / training / workshops as needed on occasion.
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word, and other basic computer skills; MS Office suite.
- Valid driver's license in good standing to participate in Siemens vehicle program.
Location: The candidate may be based anywhere in Ontario and must be open to travel within GTA, Ottawa and occasionally to Manitoba.
