The Camrose \& District Chamber of Commerce is seeking an enthusiastic and community-minded individual to join our team as Seasonal Support Staff . This dynamic role supports both the Camrose Visitor Information Centre and the Chamber office, playing a key part in delivering outstanding service to residents and tourists, while assisting with summer programming and events.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors with information about local attractions, businesses, and events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Centre, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Help ensure brochures and tourism materials are stocked and organized.
- Coordinate and implement the Train Rides on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
- Assist with planning and executing summer programming, including interactive activities and community engagement.
- Provide event-day support for major summer events, including: Jaywalkers Jamboree and Kick'n Country Parade.
- Assist in the Chamber office with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Provide support to Chamber staff on special projects and initiatives.
- Collect feedback from visitors to improve services and enhance the tourist experience.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with visitors and community members.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Customer service experience, particularly in tourism or hospitality sectors.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with Camrose and area is considered an asset.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends, with flexibility for occasional daytime hours.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
