What you can expect to do here:
- Create detailed pipe network plans and profiles;
- Prepare comprehensive drawings for lift stations, pump stations, and other mechanical equipment associated with water and wastewater utilities, adhering to company BIM/CAD standards;
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather necessary data for project planning and design;
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met;
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards;
- Work with Recap and InfraWorks for enhanced project visualization and planning;
- Understand and apply Revit modeling and functionality for integrated project delivery;
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and software advancements;
- Perform other duties as assigned/required.
What you'll bring to WSP:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting;
- 6 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design;
- Extensive experience with Civil 3D design in piping, building water and wastewater projects, sewage treatment plants, and pump stations;
- Proficiency in creating detailed and accurate technical drawings and plans;
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and structural principles related to water and wastewater systems;
- Experience with site assessments, data collection, and project planning;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Flexible attitude and capable of working independently.
