We're excited to share an opportunity for an Electrical Designer/PLC Programmer.
Daily Responsibilities May Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Designing and drafting electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical,
- Programming, testing, and troubleshooting PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Conducting system debugging, diagnostics, and optimization for efficiency.
- Collaborating with mechanical engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure seamless system integration.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Supporting commissioning, installation, and on-site troubleshooting as required.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience with PLC programming, ladder logic, and electrical design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical control systems.
- Understanding of industrial automation, motor controls, and panel design.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- The ability to travel internationally. (25%)
Location: Hamilton, Ontario
Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000
