Junior/Intermediate Drafter
The Junior/Intermediate Electrical Drafter will be part of a team of drafters supporting multiple clients in multiple industries. This career is for an individual who enjoys challenges and thrives on learning. This person is a critical thinker with high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Using client standards, draft electrical and controls drawing packages with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide assistance to client design teams in the form of drafting work and guidance.
- Actively learn and enhance your skill set with advanced drafting techniques.
Qualifications:
- Put client drafting standards and quality controls first.
- Perform CAD tasks on multiple types of CAD software, PDF software and integrate excel and database.
- High degree of accuracy reading and comprehending client standards, instructional documents for automation tools and document control tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work under and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation.
Education and Experience
Technical diploma/certificate in CADD.
Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in an engineering consulting environment.
This position is remote/hybrid. May requires some field work.
