We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-time Project Manager to join our team in Winnipeg. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction projects, from initiation to closeout.
- Manage the estimating and tendering process, including bid preparation, evaluation, and contractor selection.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain and manage project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, permits, drawings, and change orders.
- Manage stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Review and approve progress invoices, manage payments, update cash flow requirements, and oversee holdback releases.
- Attend site meetings and provide project updates.
- Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post secondary education including Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and industry standards.
- Experience with computer skills included Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word). Experience with Procore software is an asset.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
