As a Copywriter, you're excited to take on the unique challenge of producing compelling copy for a variety of campaigns. You'll work closely with the Brand Team and collaborate across departments to craft content that drives results while staying true to the SPC voice.
Here's how you will impact SPC:
- Leading the production of written copy for key marketing channels, with a focus on digital advertising and social media.
- Collaborating with members of the Brand Team (Brand Director, art director, graphic designer, etc.) to develop concepts and content for marketing materials
- Meeting regularly with other SPC departments to gather insights into our initiatives, coalition partners, and customers
- Conducting independent research into trends and topics influencing Gen Z/Alpha and the retail industry in general
- Focusing on creative problem-solving for campaigns while ensuring consistency and impact across all written content
- Assisting in the planning, production, and creation of video and photographic assets for marketing purposes
- Assist in development of B2B content to support acquisition of new coalition partners, engage retailers, and support business growth objectives

What you contribute to the team:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Copywriting or a relevant field of study
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in copywriting, with a proven ability to conceptualize, write, and deliver compelling content for marketing channels
- Demonstrated strength in conceptual thinking, writing abilities, and creative solutions
- Strong collaborator, eager to engage with team members and other departments
- An understanding of digital advertising and direct response copywriting best practices
Bonus:
- Experience working at agencies and balancing multiple clients
- Bilingualism in French is a nice to have
