Overview
As an Account Executive at UUCargo, you will be at the frontline of customer engagement, responsible for acquiring new clients and supporting existing ones. You'll present UUCargo's shipping solutions to prospects, help users resolve issues through our platform, and act as a key liaison between customers, carriers, and internal teams. Your work will directly drive our growth and ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
Duties
- Present and sell UUCargo's shipping services to new and existing clients through outbound calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for account growth.
- Prospect, research, and generate new business opportunities via cold calls and referrals.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and growth KPIs within the set deadlines.
- Respond to customer inquiries with prompt, professional solutions and handle complaints with care.
- Set follow-up appointments to keep clients engaged and informed of service updates or promotions.
- Prepare and present customized sales proposals and marketing materials to prospects.
- Collaborate closely with carrier partners and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Act as a communication bridge between clients, carriers, and the internal operations team to resolve logistics-related issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to strategically position our offerings in the market.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or account management---logistics or SaaS industry experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and a strong grasp of sales pipelines.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail with a solution-oriented, proactive mindset.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
- Be able to commute to UUCargo's Richmond office.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
