Position Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead new product launch projects in a fast-paced consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring cross-functional alignment, timely delivery, and efficient problem-solving. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive successful launches within aggressive timelines.
While this position can be performed remotely or in a hybrid capacity (from our Montréal or Milton, Ontario office), there will be occasional in-office working required. Key Responsibilities:Lead cross-functional teams (R\&D, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales) to ensure smooth execution of product launch projects. Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, and risks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, tracking key deliverables and dependencies across functions. Drive clear and effective communication between stakeholders to prevent roadblocks and ensure alignment. Utilize project management tools (MS Suite, SharePoint, Teams, Monday.com etc.) to track progress and report key metrics.
Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays. Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure seamless execution across markets. Continuous improvement on project management processes and best practices.
Drive the team as a leader, building a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and collaboration. Qualifications \& Experience:Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.5 years of experience in project management within the CPG industry, with a focus on product launches. Strong understanding of CPG product development and commercialization processes.
Proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Teams, etc.). Experience with Monday.com would be an asset. Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and align cross-functional teams. PMP certification or equivalent would be a plus.
