About Us:Reconnect Community Health Services is a not-for-profit health service organization in the west end of Toronto. Our services include supports for seniors, caregivers, and people living with mental health and addictions concerns.
We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of client-centered care in our sector. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all projects led and supported by Reconnect Community Health Services are successfully executed and completed. The project manager will coordinate projects on time, within budget and within scope while participating in all aspects of assigned projects including developing meeting materials, working to deadlines, monitoring the progress of the projects, communicating with stakeholders and developing reports on the status of the projects.

Do:You will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, including:Provides support to the leadership team and participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation responsibilities related to projects;Develops and maintains relationships with partners and diverse stakeholders in relevant projects;Delivers all services in a professional manner and according to established guidelines and associated benchmarks;Supports the leadership team in conducting stakeholder meetings and forums in order to solicit feedback, input, and expectations, and incorporates recommendations into project plans;Plans all project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate methodologies and techniques;Develops mechanisms for tracking project progress and reporting to stakeholders;Provides regular updates to the leadership and other stakeholders as required through project reports, presentations and other mediums;Responds to issues identified by stakeholders;Anticipates potential barriers to success and mitigates risk including the creation of contingency plans;Works collaboratively with other internal and external project teams;Other duties as required. What We're Looking
For:To thrive in this exciting role, we seek candidates with:2-3 years of experience in a project management role within a health services environmentPost-Secondary Education in health care, social services, an information technology related field or equivalent experience. Self-directed and independent, but also experienced in working effectively as a member of team, which includes internal and external stakeholders;Above average written ability; ability to analyze written reports, complex documents and publicationsStrong experience in developing and managing multi-disciplinary and multi-organizational projects;Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks and keep stakeholders effectively involved in the process;Excellent time management and work prioritization skills with an ability to effectively manage multiple high impact priorities;Able to interpret data and use it to develop effective and appropriate health care programs;Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills;Strong interpersonal and relationship building experience, including a proven ability to build and develop effective relationships with health service providers and community partners;Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills;Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;Experience with healthcare accreditation is an asset. Knowledge of and sensitivity to gender, race, sexual orientation, age and multicultural issues.
Special Rrequirements:Criminal background check;Works a 37.5 hour workweek, Monday through Friday and as needed after hours and on weekends. Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the project and the agency. May provide services at the Reconnect offices and at satellite locations.
