Job Role: Salesforce Business Solutions EngineerLocation: Remote, CanadaDuration: 12+ Months ContractExperience: 12+ YearsJob Description Business Solutions Engineer As a Salesforce Business Solutions Engineer on the Business Technology team, you will interface with business area leads and subject matter experts to identify, prioritize, develop and maintain a portfolio of projects related to the company's product roadmap. - Being frontline obsessed; understanding business drivers and priorities as well as their impact on budget, requirements, and planning
- Being hands-on in performing declarative configuration, testing, and deployments
- Influencing and facilitating decision-making by educating stakeholders on solutions and trade-offs
- Recommending technology-based solutions while minimizing technical debt
- Writing user stories and providing precise level of effort estimates for sprint planning
- Understanding when configuration, custom code, or third-party solutions are appropriate
- Communicating complex ideas concisely and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Using data to make informed decisions
- Fostering productive cross-functional relationships Responsibilities
- Identify business-driven needs and priorities
- Provide insight into best practices, standards, and trends in the CRM industry
- Perform analysis of business processes; write concise and effective requirements, user stories, and test cases
- Receive, assess and groom stories, enhancements and project requests from business requirements
- Own the execution of declarative configuration and administration tasks in Salesforce
- Create process maps and wireframes
- Work alongside engineers to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Provide demos and training to end-users
- Identify technical and process gaps and recommend action plans
- Evaluate vendor solutions and configure third-party CRM applications and integrations
- Manage delivery and quality assurance
- Monitor and respond to feature and support requests
- Conduct regression testing of functionality before releasing bug fixes or features to users
- Participate in daily scrum meetings to provide updates on progress and address obstacles Required Experience
- Hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including, but not limited to fields/objects, profiles, permissions, layouts, validation rules, and flows Preferred Experience
- Experience or knowledge of industry-standard devops and CI/CD processes (SFDX, Github, Buildkite, Jenkins, Copado, etc.)
- Hands-on configuration experience with CRM Analytics (CRMA) and/or Salesforce Einstein
