Job Description Industrial Millwright

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair advanced manufacturing systems, including conveyors, overhead and transfer systems, robotic systems, and presses.
Performpreventative maintenanceon electrical and mechanical equipment following standardized procedures to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and repairhydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
Diagnose, replace, and/or repair machine components such as cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings.
Conductwelding, metal fabrication, hand finishing, grinding, and polishingas required.
Design, test, and implement improvements on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Work collaboratively in aflexible manufacturing environment, adapting to evolving challenges and production demands.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Valid Ontario or Inter-Provincial 426A/433A Millwright Certificate of Qualification).
Completion of aMillwright Apprenticeship.
Minimum 2 years of experienceas a Licensed Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Availability to workweekends and flexible shiftsas needed.
Strongtroubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-speed, high-volume industrial environments.
Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairinghydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Familiarity withPLC programming (Ladder Logic) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)is a plus.
Proven ability to performpreventative maintenanceon electrical and mechanical equipment.
Experience withwelding, machining, and metal fabrication.
Skilled inrigging and hoisting(preferred).
Ability toadapt to changing prioritieswhile maintaining efficiency and precision.
Strongteam playerwith a commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and workplace safety.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively withcross-functional teamsin a fast-paced environment.
