Who You Are:We are looking for a Full-Stack engineer who is experienced in a variety of frontend and backend elements, ambitious, and hardworking.
As a Full Stack Developer, you'll play a vital role in crafting seamless, impactful features across our platform. Residen continues to grow and expand rapidly, so you'll be hitting the ground running by bringing features that will immediately be used by thousands of students and landlords across Canada. This role is in-office in the Toronto area.
Compensation:Starting salary is $100k-$120k CAD/year. Key Responsibilities:Frontend: Design and build complex web apps using Javascript, React, design libraries (like Chakra UI)Backend: Use Java to build a REST APIDatabase: Design database schemas using MongoDBRequired Qualifications:Proficient in English2+ years designing and developing Frontend applications preferably with React, Javascript2+ years developing Backend APIs, preferably with JavaExperience using and designing databases and schemas
Built production-grade apps with a high level of excellence
Strong problem solving skills, ability to carry-out self-directed work, and good interpersonal skills
Nice to Have:Portfolio of past work/projects
Have been an engineer at early-stage company
