About the CTO Role
MISSION: Build \& Scale the Product.
Own the technology vision, product development, and scaling of COCOA. Be our tech leader, innovator, and chief architect as we take COCOA from startup to category-defining success.
In This Role, You Will
Own the Tech Strategy
- Develop COCOA's technology roadmap and align it with our business goals.
- Identify cutting-edge technologies to ensure COCOA stays scalable, secure, and user-friendly.
- Lead Product Development
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle---from ideation to deployment.
- Collaborate closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Continuously improve COCOA's core features: WhatsApp-like chat, multi-restaurant management, and supplier tools.
Build \& Grow the Tech Team
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of engineers and developers.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and ownership.
Ensure Scalability \& Quality
- Set up scalable architectures and coding best practices.
- Prioritize bug fixes, testing, and product performance optimization as we scale.
Be a Cofounder
- Shape COCOA's growth strategy as part of the leadership team.
- Be actively involved in investor discussions, product pitches, and customer acquisition efforts.
What You Bring
- Proven experience building and scaling B2B SaaS or marketplace platforms.
- Strong skills in full-stack development, system architecture, and deployment.
- A growth mindset with the ability to wear multiple hats---builder, manager, strategist.
- Experience leading cross-functional tech teams and creating a collaborative engineering culture.
- Knowledge of scalable, cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, Azure) and agile product development processes.
- Bonus points if you've scaled a product from MVP to market success before.
This is an Equity-Based Role
As Cofounder, you'll share in COCOA's success through equity ownership. We're raising our seed round, so this role requires someone ready to invest their time, expertise, and energy into building a product that will define a market.
