How will you make an impact in this role?
As a member of the Enterprise Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in solving business problems within the International Card Services Organization. You will be responsible for providing effective consultation and action driven recommendations to senior stakeholders that drive their portfolio forward and achieve their business objectives. To do so, you will leverage your strong business acumen, a robust set of technical skills, and compelling storytelling abilities. This position will build and leverage broad enterprise knowledge across multiple disciplinaries including Customer Marketing, Product, Rewards, Partnership and Acquisition teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultation with stakeholders to understand their business needs, assess the specifications of their request, and recommend appropriate solutions when necessary.
- Evaluate overall impact to the business and assess scope / complexity of potential work involved to ensure proper prioritization and depth of engagement.
- Design the project and analysis while leveraging business frameworks that fit the project need.
- Concisely communicate the scope and analysis design in an easy-to-understand format for stakeholders to review and ensure alignment is achieved.
- Utilize broad set of analytical tools/techniques for data extraction, transformation and visualization.
- Conduct analysis to uncover insights, calculate post-campaign ROI, diagnose root problems, and identify business solutions.
- Lead audit and data analysis to inform partnership opportunities, product changes and new benefit constructs, generating forecasts to size potential impact.
- Create concise and compelling presentations that highlight key findings and implications, leading into logical and actionable recommendations.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership team and develop case studies to help drive adoption of scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administrations, Commerce, Data \& Analytics, or Statistics preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing or analytics
Key Skills
Technical
- Intermediate Excel skills, (Excel functions, Pivot tables, built-in visual functions, standard short cuts).
- Basic understanding of SQL, Google Cloud Platform and closed loop data.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills, with emphasis on effective data visualization.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues independently leveraging existing resources (existing documentation, training modules, online resources).
Business Acumen
- Understanding of product management and standard customer life cycle.
- Understanding of the product-level benefit suite and associated economics.
- Ability to apply various business case frameworks for solving standard business questions.
- Ability to read and dissect a P\&L statement.
- Knowledge of basic financial principles (cash flow, time value of money, risk and return).
