Shipping Responsibilities:

Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and organizing items for dispatch.

Verify shipping details, match items to packing lists, and ensure proper documentation for carriers.

Receiving Responsibilities:
-
Receive incoming shipments, unload deliveries, and verify received items against purchase orders.
-
Inspect incoming goods for damage, accuracy, and quality, and report discrepancies as needed.

Inventory Management:
-
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating systems or logs for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Organize and store received items in designated storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization

Order Fulfillment Support:
-
Assist in fulfilling orders by locating and retrieving items from inventory as per picking lists.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate shipment preparation.

Compliance and Safety:
-
Adhere to safety protocols and warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, hazardous material handling, and safety guidelines.
Accountabilities:
- Accurate handling of shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and inventory accuracy.
- Accountability for maintaining organized shipping/receiving areas and supporting efficient order fulfillment.
Knowledge, Skills \& Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with using shipping software, inventory management systems, and MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and strong organizational skills.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and follow shipping/receiving instructions.
Education \& Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training in logistics or related field is advantageous.
- 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, is a plus.
- Understanding of safety procedures, basic math skills, and the ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- This role is in one of Aurora's Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certified plants and works directly with products. Towards the end of the recruitment process, we require that you undergo a medical screening exam with our third-party vendor.
