Quality Assurance ManagerLocation: GTAAbout The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our clients quality control and food safety initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with industry regulations, customer requirements, and company standards while driving continuous improvement in quality management systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Ensure certification and adherence to Safe Quality Food (SQF), ISO 14001, and other relevant quality standards. Implement and enforce food safety programs, including HACCP, GMP, and ISO 9001.
Monitor and assess compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and customer specifications. Conduct internal audits, lead external audits, and coordinate corrective actions. Utilize quality control tools, data analysis, and reporting to identify trends and drive improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and safety. Provide leadership, training, and guidance to quality assurance staff. Stay updated on ISO 45001 and EcoVadis requirements, with the ability to integrate best practices into operations.
Qualifications \& Skills:Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in quality assurance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment. Certifications: Certified in SQF, HACCP, GMP, and ISO 9001; experience with ISO 14001 is required. Knowledge of ISO 45001 and EcoVadis is a strong asset.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality control tools, and compliance requirements. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and identifying process improvements. Leadership: Experience managing teams and implementing quality assurance programs.
Communication: Ability to interact with regulatory agencies, auditors, and internal stakeholders effectively. What's In
