Adler University is seeking a skilled Salesforce CRM Administrator to join the IT Department team in support of our Admissions Department and its daily operations. The ideal candidate will manage and enhance our Salesforce ecosystem to streamline admissions processes and improve user experience with the goal in mind to ultimately drive enrollment success. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of Salesforce administration best practices and a passion for leveraging technology to support educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain the Salesforce platform, focusing on user setup, roles, permissions, workflows, and security settings specific to the admissions process.
- Develop and manage custom objects, fields, page layouts, and record types tailored to the needs of prospective students and admissions workflows.
- Work closely with the Admissions team to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions that enhance recruitment and enrollment strategies.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by managing de-duplication, data imports, and validation processes to support accurate admissions reporting.
- Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and responding to Salesforce-related queries from the Admissions team.
- Support integrations with third-party applications and platforms that enhance the admissions process, including marketing automation tools and applicant tracking systems.
- Ensure compliance with institutional data governance policies and privacy regulations, including FERPA and GDPR, as they pertain to admissions data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (required); Advanced Administrator or other relevant certifications (preferred).
- Minimum 4-6 years of Salesforce administration experience, with a strong preference for experience in higher education admissions.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing Salesforce Education Cloud (preferred).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices in the context of admissions.
- Experience with declarative development tools (Flow, Process Builder, etc.).
- Proficient in User Management, Data Management, and Configuration.
- Skilled in data management tools like Data Loader and Excel.
- Knowledge of CRM processes in higher education, particularly admissions and student engagement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation Range:
Annual Salary $79,930.00 - $107,900.00 USD
Work Environment (Physical Demands): The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands: some lifting to 25 pounds, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
