Career OpportunityWe currently have a permanent full-time career opportunity for an Associate Investment Advisor based out of White Rock, BC. Harbourfront has had exponential growth the last several years and this is a very exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing firm. This role requires an individual who is ambitious, professional, detail-oriented, independent, organized, and effective at multi-tasking, with strong communication and people skills.
Candidates must be versatile and capable of performing a variety of tasks to get the job done in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is of the upmost importance. Depending on experience and knowledge, the core responsibilities of the role will be, but not limited to:Professionally represent advisors to clients, business partners, and the community. Adhere to the highest level of integrity, ethical conduct, industry compliance rules, and regulations
Foster and support client relationships by liaising with clients, responding to requests and proactive problem solving
Assist with the account opening process of new clients, manage documentation requirements to provide seamless service onboarding new clients
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports, client correspondence and taking ownership of project work
Process and follow up on security transactions and transfers
Supporting various office administrative duties including maintaining files and other general office duties as required
Manage and maintain the prospect database and marketing materials
Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with clients and respond to requests for information
Assist with the preparation of documents for client meetings
Maintain the client contact system by ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all communications with clients
Manage all necessary documentation for the client base and be current with compliance regulations
Prepare professional correspondence, reports, documents, and files
Communicate internally with various operational and administration departments as required
The Ideal Candidate For This Position HasMinimum of 3-years investment industry experience.Active Investment Representative (IR) Licensing with CIROExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint \& OutlookExcellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and identify opportunities to add value

Insurance License and/or Financial Planning Certificate are considered assets. Salary Range$75,000 -- $90,000 (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity). In addition to the base salary, there is the potential for additional team and individual performance-based bonuses.
