Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a candidate for a Global Trade Lead role with one of the largest aerospace and defense companies in North America. In the Global Trade Lead position, you will be responsible for a team that focuses on all aspects of the Raytheon Global Trade and Global Customs Program (training, policies, processes, implementation, classifications \& metrics); engaging and developing the classification focal network, program development, classification audit program and continuous improvement. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in Global Trade and must be familiar with both exports and imports. The position requires both a high-level understanding of the products and an intimate knowledge of the regulations surrounding their classification, export and import, including U.S and Non-U.S. regulations as they may apply. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of the organization.
Required Skills \& Experience

5-7 years of relevant experience in roles engaging with compliance with the ITAR, EAR, US sanctions and regulations and working knowledge of Canadian Controlled Goods Regulations

Prior global trade compliance knowledge and experience

Experience leading a team

Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate to various levels within the organization
