Examine overall operational integrity and condition of the trucks

Diagnose, adjust/repair mechanical, hydraulic or electrical parts then communicating and executing next steps for repair solutions to the customer

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.

Diagnose and order parts according to technical manuals.

Document and analyze breakdowns based on standard procedures

As a technician, you are the front line contact between GNJ and the customer, so you are comfortable with client contact as well as being technical savvy
-
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or equivalent related experience

Perform duties in inclement weather, with exposure to severe weather conditions
-
Must have a Truck and Coach 310T Certification or Heavy Duty Technician Certification.

Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment
-
Knowledge of the use of hand tools and measuring devices, knowledge of the use of electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements
-
Experience with industrial equipment that involves lifting / rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment.

Experience aligning above equipment, using dial indicators/calipers, micrometers, hoists or jacks is a plus.

Able to interpret and implement technical procedures

Solid knowledge of general Lock-out/Tag-out procedures

Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced and changing environment.
