- Lead and motivate a team to elevate customer experiences in our vibrant airport venue.
- Drive sales in wine, food, and merchandise, balancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Train and nurture staff in delivering Vino Volo's exceptional service standards.
- Liaise across various management levels to ensure top-quality customer experiences.
- Promote a safe and respectful work environment, adhering to Ontario's workplace safety and harassment prevention regulations.
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum two years of college education; four-year degree preferred.
- 2-4 years' experience in management or as a wine sommelier in a reputable full-service restaurant, wine bar, or winery tasting room.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Wine knowledge is advantageous.
- Proficiency in retail POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years old (legal drinking age in Ontario).
- Able to pass required background checks.
- Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid Serve Safe certification or equivalent as per Ontario regulations.
- Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
