- Salary range 004: 71 200$ to 89 000$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training \& experience related to the position.)
**What's involved in this role**
- Ensure compliance of health and safety regulations, and ability to implement programs to improve safety culture.
- Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the production team;
- Promote and enhance a positive employee relation atmosphere including efforts to continuously improve teamwork and establish high levels of employee involvement.
- Ensures consistent application of best practices towards product evaluation, food safety and quality to support and maintain Agropur's quality standards;
- Supports the operation of the HACCP team to ensure that the facility and documentation is suitable for third party / customer audits to maintain the SQF/ HACCP status at the plant;
- Monitor and ensure efficiency of plant equipment and resources and ensure production requirements are met on time;
- Track efficiencies \& productivity, measure results and communicate performance.
**What you need to join our team**
- College Diploma or University Degree in an Engineering or science field.
- 3-5 years' experience as a supervisor with direct involvement in a unionized production facility.
- Experience in dairy industry is an added advantage.
- Computer literacy, ideally with MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Knowledge of quality assurance systems (HACCP and SQF), an asset.
