Developing and maintaining finance-business partnerships across the Questrade Journey's, within Community Trust Company and with Questrade Finance is key. This role disseminates broader Questrade strategies into CTC (and future Questbank) views, ensuring the requirements of a regulated FRFI are met when aligning with Questrade strategic priorities.

Develop a deep understanding of business performance.

Plan, direct, and manage regular and ad hoc reporting and the financial analysis function for CTC and Questbank.

Manage the forward-looking perspective of business performance and capital adequacy:

Develop rolling forecasts and scenarios.

Assist in the development, monitoring, and reporting for business cases within CTC and Questbank:

Prepare materials for approval by the Board and OSFI, as required.

Manage the annual budget and 5-year financial and capital plans for CTC (in partnership with Questrade, treasury, and risk).

Assist in creating the annual strategic business plans for CTC and Questbank.

Improve, develop, and maintain financial models, while increasing controls, validation, and documentation:

Work with Questrade finance to improve consolidated financial models.

Manage the ICAAP and stress testing and perform regular sensitivity analysis; support risk and treasury.

Collaborate with CTC's second line to develop stress testing and sensitivities in support of ICAAP and LCFP, including new requirements.

Collaborate with CTC's Accounting and Reporting team to interpret regulatory reporting, including capital requirements.

Partner with Questrade finance and CTC accounting leadership to drive finance modernization projects.

Participate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cross-enterprise projects and product launches.

- Have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a closely related business field.
- Hold Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations. Demonstrated equivalent expertise through extensive, directly relevant experience in Deposit-Taking Institution (DTI) financial analysis may be considered.
- Have expert-level proficiency in developing and utilizing financial models tailored for Deposit-Taking Institutions (DTIs), including advanced data structuring, manipulation, and reporting using industry-standard tools.
- Have exceptional communication skills, with the proven ability to present complex financial analyses and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
- Have strong organization and multitasking skills, and the ability to work with a high degree of accountability and initiative.
- Have demonstrated ability to translate intricate technical, analytical, and conceptual financial information into easily understandable formats for diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience within regulated financial services, with at least 5 years specifically within a Deposit-Taking Institution (DTI) environment.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams of financial professionals in through-the-cycle Financial Planning \& Analysis (FP\&A) or Strategic Analysis roles within a DTI.
- Have a deep expertise in Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), capital requirements, and other relevant regulatory frameworks applicable to Deposit-Taking Institutions (DTIs).
