Job Summary
As Office365 is a new implementation for the firm, we are seeking an individual who can bring their expertise, strong technical background and innovative ideas to the table. The ideal candidate will be proactive, always on the lookout for more efficiencies. They will have excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
The Office365 Application Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support and administration for Office365 applications. This role includes troubleshooting issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring the consistent operation of Office365 services. More importantly, it involves taking ownership of O365 and fully understanding its capabilities to proactively make suggestions and enhance business processes.
Key Accountabilities:
· Provide technical support for Office365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive,
Copilot and other related services.
· Develop and maintain open lines of communication with key stakeholders and business units to
effectively understand their needs and provide timely support. Ensure clear and consistent updates on
any changes or improvements to the Office365 environment.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office365 applications and services.
· Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Office365 services.
· Assist with the deployment and configuration of Office365 applications.
· Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Office365 services.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest Office365 features, updates, and best practices.
· Document support processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 2 years of experience in supporting Office365 applications and services.
· Strong knowledge of Office365 administration and troubleshooting.
· Experience with PowerShell scripting for Office365 administration.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
Technical Skills Required:
· Proficiency in Office365 administration and management.
· Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams administration.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and mobile device management (MDM).
· Understanding of Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and its integration with Office365.
· Experience with security and compliance features in Office365, such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
and eDiscovery.
· Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
· Experience with third-party Office365 tools and add-ins.
· Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and practices.
· Be well-versed with Microsoft Power Platform to develop, automate, and analyze business solutions
(Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or similar certification.
· Experience with Microsoft Azure (Entra ID) and Active Directory.
· Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
