We're partnering with a mission-driven, tech-enabled organization that's experiencing continued growth and innovation in the education sector. We're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a short-term contract engagement. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a CPA (or nearly designated professional) with solid treasury, AR, and tax experience who's ready to step in and make an immediate impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Take ownership of day-to-day treasury activities, including cash flow oversight, foreign exchange (FX) handling, and account funding
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure adherence to credit timelines
- Support routine tax filings (including Canadian provinces and U.S. state-level filings -- processes are already well established)
- Provide audit assistance and lend support to month-end close and invoicing processes as needed
What We're Looking For:
- CPA designation or in the final stages of completion
- Strong hands-on experience with treasury operations, receivables, and tax filings
- Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
