We're looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager (Buyer) to join our Growth Team and take paid strategy and execution to the next level. This isn't a passive media buyer role---we want someone who owns the numbers, hunts for ROI, and treats every client dollar like it's their own. Role Summary:
The Senior Paid Media Manager at Consultus Digital is responsible for building, launching, and optimizing paid campaigns across Google Search, Meta, and other performance platforms. You'll work across eCommerce, sports, and B2B brands---crafting media strategies that not only drive clicks but drive profit.
This role is for someone who:
- Thinks like an engineer but writes like a marketer.
- Can explain CAC, ROAS, LTV, and incrementally in their sleep.
- Lives in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, but doesn't stop at surface-level metrics.
- Knows that scaling a campaign is both art and science.
- Bonus if you're a sports nut. You'll love some of the clients we work with.
Targets
Output KPIs
- Blended ROAS and CAC performance across accounts
- Cost per qualified lead or customer vs target
- Campaign velocity (how quickly you go from brief to launch)
- Budget utilization and pacing
- Uplift in revenue generated from paid media per quarter
Input KPIs
- % of spend under performance tracking (GA4, Meta Events, UTM tagging)

- Creative briefs written in collaboration with Creative
- Audience segmentation tests run
Service Level Agreement:
24-hour response time on paid media-related client queries (excluding weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
Paid Media Strategy \& Execution
- Architect and execute paid media strategies across Google Search, Shopping, Meta (IG/FB), YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Use a full-funnel approach to campaign design: awareness, retargeting, conversion
- Stay on top of algorithm changes, auction trends, and performance levers
- Translate business goals into ad account structures and budget distribution plans
Campaign Management \& Optimization
- Own the setup, A/B testing, and scaling of campaigns
- Monitor daily performance, flag anomalies, and implement fixes
- Constantly test new ad creative, audiences, bidding strategies, and placements
- Partner with CRO and Analytics teams to align campaign insights with web behaviour
Client Collaboration \& Reporting
- Be the paid media expert in client strategy calls
- Present data-rich, no-BS performance reports
- Recommend pivots or budget shifts based on real-time performance
- Collaborate with Growth Strategists to align ads with broader funnel goals
Creative Direction Input
- Brief creative team on ad angles and performance insights
- Share data-informed recommendations to improve hooks, headlines, and CTAs
- Push for thumb-stopping, scroll-breaking assets---UGC, video, and interactive
Role Requirements:
Hard Skills
- 5+ years in paid media (agency or in-house), with proven ROI-driving results
- Expert-level Google Ads \& Meta Ads Manager (Search, Performance Max, Shopping, IG/FB)
- Strong grasp of data analysis (Excel, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, GA4)
- Deep understanding of marketing math: LTV, CAC, ROAS, MER, etc.
- Bonus: experience with TikTok Ads, YouTube, Pinterest, or Snapchat Ads
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and GA4
Soft Skills:
- Detail-obsessed and numbers-first
- Strong communicator and team collaborator
- Comfortable with autonomy and responsibility
- Loves testing, iterating, and solving hard performance puzzles
Preferred Background
- 5+ years of paid media experience
- STEM degree or heavy quantitative focus in post-secondary education
- Experience with high-velocity industries like eCommerce or sports
- Familiarity with product feeds, catalog ads, and pixel/tag management
- Experience scaling accounts with >$100K/month in media spend
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $105,000 per year plus performance bonuses based on department performance
