Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Machine Operator to join our client's team in Stoney Creek. As a lead manufacturer, they have elevated requirements for health and safety, which include wearing a Power Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR). You will be required to do a pre placement baseline lead test with physical and also a background check. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate production machines including extrusion press and CNC
Cast molten lead
Burn/solder lead components
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Inspect product during production runs
Perform physically demanding tasks
Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management promptly
Daily cleaning of equipment and storing of (PAPR)

Skills

Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
Basic knowledge of construction or labor-related tasks is preferred
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and supervisors.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks performed.
Willingness to learn new skills and techniques relevant to the labor field.
Ability to operate forklift(preferably licensed)
