Automotive Technician Overview:
Thank you for considering Midas to continue your career. We are in need of an experienced, career-focused technician at our Torrington location. The ability to effectively and accurately diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles is a must. A positive attitude and your own tools are also requirements. Emissions tester or ASE certifications a plus. At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience. Automotive Technician Requirements:
- Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment.
- Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, \& engine diagnostics.
- Track record of high personal productivity.
- Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, tire balancers, wheel alignment equipment, etc.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Degree or ASE certifications a definite plus.
- Valid Driver's License that meets insurance guidelines.
- Personally owned tools required to complete jobs independently.
