Oversee, document, review, and assess contractor's compliance with contractual requirements.

Take accurate and detailed measurements of all work performed by the contractor to ensure accurate payments for work performed.

Prepare daily site observation report and maintain a daily photograph log.

Assist the Contract Administrator in preparing various internal/external reports and other status reports to client.

Assist the Contract Administrator with the review of contractor submissions (critical path schedules, field changes, monthly payment certificates etc.) for compliance with contractual obligations.

Confirm the appropriate qualifications and certifications for all contractor employees, resources, and equipment.

Communicate with relevant stakeholders as required.

Experience working with MTO projects, and municipalities for grading, paving, underground water main, sanitary and storm sewers, roads, and bridge construction.

Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of Senior inspection experience.

Registration with OACETT as a C.E.T., C.Tech., rcsi or rcca

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven analytical and negotiation skills.

Knowledge of appropriate laws and regulations (environmental, health and safety, etc.).

Knowledge of MTO CAIS Manual and CMS.

Thorough understanding of design standards, Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications/Standard drawings (OPSS/OPSD's), and methods and materials associated with municipal/highway construction.

Proficient in Microsoft office (Word and Excel).

Previous experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D would be considered an asset.

Possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to construction site.

Able to work overtime, on weekends and nights as required.
