Job Description: What You'll Be Doing: Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve mechanical and electromechanical issues and implement product improvements
- Identify and implement productivity and process improvement initiatives
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and resource utilization
- Lead capital equipment assessments and justifications
- Develop and maintain process documentation and routings
- Provide technical support to the CNC programming team
- Oversee maintenance, safety, and environmental projects as needed
- Manage work schedules and team performance to ensure on-time delivery
- Uphold and enforce safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Coach, train, and develop team members while fostering a positive culture
- Promote and model core values such as accountability, integrity, respect, and continuous improvement
Requirements: What We're Looking For:
- Post-secondary education in mechanical or electrical engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in an engineering or plant operations role
- Strong knowledge of cutting, machining, and metal fabrication processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
- Natural leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as required by production demands
