Here's what you'll do:

Maintain all Level III duties and responsibilities.

Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills on CMM's utilizing mechanical and electronic aptitude on which training has been received.

Computer repair and network skills (operating system install/upgrades/drivers/hubs/etc.).

Interact (communicate) with other internal departments to increase customer service and/or improve a Zeiss or procedure (Dispatch/Technical Support/Customer Care/Applications/ Engineering/Sales/Production/Management).

Accept responsibility for customer environment and/or other performance influences (operator error, tooling fixturing) and recommend/document applicable solution.

Ability to perform basic to mid-level retrofits.

Other duties as required.
Do you qualify?
- AS/BS in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics or training and experience from Military
- Technical School is preferred.
- Previous experience installing, troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines or computer systems preferred.
- Microsoft operating system usage knowledge is required.
- Previous CMM installation and troubleshooting experience is preferred; however, not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude is required.
- Have consistently and efficiently performed as a Field Service Technician for a minimum of 18 months (maintain all functions and responsibilities of previous levels).
