Job Summary

Responsibilities

Operating Rhythm: Leads the Equinix rhythm of the business ensuring we are executing effectively, at pace, towards our strategy
Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with functional business operations leaders and C-Suite executives to align operational initiatives with business strategy and objectives
Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with functional business operations leaders to understand their needs, gather insights, and drive collaborative solutions
Information Synthesis: Analyze and synthesize complex data and information to provide simple, clear and actionable recommendations and insights
Growth mindset: Drive operational excellence through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the success of operational initiatives and business performance
Change Management: Lead change management efforts by advocating for operational excellence and fostering a continuous improvement culture
Project Management: Oversee the execution of key projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
Communication: Develop a consistent scaled strategic narrative, synthesizing major communication decisions between senior management and the broader organization, and ensuring strategy and priority alignment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
Proven experience in business operations, strategy, or management consulting, preferably in a leadership role
Masterful at working and influencing cross functionally, managing stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with C-suite leaders and cross-functional teams.
Experience with process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with technology and tools used for business operations and analytics.
San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $160,000 to $273,000 per year
