Sr DBA: Postgres SQL

Job title:

Our client:

Work in our PostgreSQL operations team.
Provide on-call support for critical applications.
Support a growing environment and migrating to PostgreSQL and GCP Google cloud.
Engage in special projects to solve key challenges facing the department.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems Management or equivalent experience with PostgreSQL Database.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Postgres SQL DBA. Experience with PostgreSQL security (creating users, granting/revoking access, LDAP integration, etc.) and working with community version PostgreSQL version 13 (or higher).
5+ years of experience with another database platform such as DB2 and SQL Server.
5+ years of experience with streaming and logical replication, HA, Backup and Recovery and Maintenance utilities including setup, configuration and monitoring.
Experience investigating/troubleshooting PostgreSQL performance issues with native Postgres catalog and statistics.
Solid knowledge of psql language.
Strong knowledge of shell scripting language(s).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Exposure to GCP / Google Cloud.
Experience with Linux admin, storage admin, network admin.
Experience with cluster management tools supporting HA PostgreSQL clusters (Patroni, etc.).
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible/Git.
