Be organized and have a proven record of accomplishment in customer service, building and maintaining relationships with supporters (donors, corporate partners, and other stakeholders interested in supporting post-secondary education, etc.).

Experience in face-to-face fundraising, event planning, sales, public relations, communications, finance, writing, and volunteer resource management is preferred.

Experience in public or alumni relations

Experience with social media as a strategic communications tool

Experience in Alberta Gaming \& Liquor Commission regulations and Canada Revenue Agency charities regulations

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Excellent soft and/or interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly develop professional relationships with donors, students, employees, alumni, and stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and suppliers.

Proven experience working in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Grant writing and/or other writing and editing experience is preferred.
