What You Will Do
- Greet guests arriving by private car, taxi, or limo by opening car doors and welcoming them to the hotel.
- Assist guests in descending from their vehicles and help unload their luggage.
- Redirect guest luggage to the respective guest rooms.
- Assist in valet parking cars and occasionally drive the house car around Whistler.
- Provide guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the town and its attractions.
- Load luggage into cars for departing guests.
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
- Accommodate special requests whenever possible.
- Resolve customer complaints and assist with inquiries about hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, in-house events, and more.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Previous experience in a hotel or guest service role preferred.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Comfortable lifting and carrying 20 pounds.
- Class 5 BC Driver's license REQUIRED.
- Clean driving record.
- Excellent commitment to service.
- Ability to work in Canada.
