Position Summary
The Junior Material Handler supports the efficient flow and organization of materials across our warehouse and production areas. You'll play a key role in keeping inventory accurate, workspaces organized, and production lines well-supplied.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish and maintain inventory through the Kanban system
- Perform cycle counts, stock checks, and physical inventory activities
- Handle materials, including receiving inbound deliveries, checking for damages, and documenting issues
- Label, locate, and pick parts and kits to support production areas
- Package and prepare components for delivery or use in manufacturing
- Cross-train on warehouse equipment, including operating a tugger for designated routes
- Coordinate the movement of tools and materials for repair, warranty, or storage purposes
- Support 5S workplace organization efforts by maintaining clean and orderly workspaces
- Assist with raw material storage, machine loading, and general warehouse logistics
- Follow safety protocols and participate in cross-training and team initiatives
What You Bring Technical Skills \& Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Prior experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or inventory is an asset
- SAP B1 or other ERP systems experience is a bonus
- Forklift Operator Safety Training Certificate is an asset
- Strong understanding of safe work practices

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces
- Comfort with lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering heavier loads using carts or equipment
- Ability to work at heights, climb stairs/ladders, and reach overhead regularly
