About the Company
Provide strategic direction and leadership for Stamping Operations at our manufacturing facility. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance overall production capabilities. Manage the engineering aspects of stamping equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Work closely with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements, innovations, and cost-effective solutions. Lead the development and maintenance of dies for all projects. Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure the timely availability of high-quality dies for stamping operations. Coordinate with the team to ensure alignment with manufacturing standards and best practices. Evaluate opportunities for insourcing stamping operations and make informed decisions based on cost, quality, and strategic considerations. Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to identify suitable suppliers and vendors when necessary.
About the Role
Senior level role with interaction at all levels of the organization including sales, management, suppliers, customers and internal departments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations including Materials Management, Production Management, ERP System Management, Project Management, Customer Service, and the facilities.
- Design strategy and set goals for growth.
- Prepare and maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
- Set policies and processes, as required.
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
- Direct the employee assessment process.
- Reports all unsafe \& unhealthy conditions to Management or a member of the Joint Health \& Safety Committee
- Performs other tasks as required
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
- Certification in Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology.
- Strong ERP/MRP systems skills.
- Proven track record of increasing efficiency and productivity in a small/medium high tech manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, KPIs, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication, computer, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Required Skills
- Welding \& progressive stamping tooling technology knowledge preferred.
- Strong knowledge of die manufacturing concepts.
- Strong Project Management skills.

Excellent interpersonal \& communication skills; Team player. Highly focused on results \& objectives. Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. Can complete tasks even with constant interruption; meets deadlines.
