Hays has partnered with a renowned construction firm specialize in Residential, ICI and Civil construction across Ontario.
We are currently hiring for a Construction Manager, with experience in bridge construction. ( Civil construction experience is a must)
Basic Details:
- Minimum of 12 years in construction with at least 8 years managing progressively larger and more complex projects and teams.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in Bridge Construction projects, from start to finish and must be involved in 3- 4 full projects.
- Proven leadership skills, with strong focus on mentoring and motivating.
- Demonstrated ability to manage key relationships, including clients, business partners, government agencies and sub-trades.
- Computer literate, working knowledge of Microsoft software (excel, word, etc.) And emails.
- Ability to lead and manage a large group, attract, hire and develop workers.
- Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal and external challenges or obstacles.
- Sound understanding of risk management.
- Knowledge of Human Resources policies, practices and procedures.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability. Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills.
The company is based in London, ON and an ideal candidate will be within an hour travel.
This role is 100% based in office, with site travels as and when necessary, offering competitive compensation and benefits package.
