Branch Manager
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, sales performance, customer service, and team leadership. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial, plumbing, or mechanical product distribution, and is confident managing both people and processes to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead branch operations, including inside sales, customer service, warehouse, and inventory control.
- Oversee order processing and ensure timely, accurate fulfillment and delivery coordination.
- Resolve customer issues, provide product support, and drive customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate the purchasing of non-stock items.
- Please prepare sales quotes and help with forecasting and budgeting.
- Collaborate with outside sales, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues and streamline operations.
- Recruit, train, and develop branch staff; conduct performance evaluations.
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company Health \& Safety policies.
- Strengthen relationships with key customers and suppliers to support growth.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends to support business development.
- Generate and review reports on sales, inventory, and operational performance.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business, Sales, or related field.
- 5--8 years of experience in a branch or sales management role.
- Strong industry knowledge in mechanical, plumbing, or industrial supplies.
- Proven leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical documentation is an asset.
